Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TrustsMatch ("we", "us", "the Service") collects, uses and protects information when you visit trustsmatch.com. By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a review or contact form we collect the name you choose to display, your email address and the content of your submission. Providing this information is voluntary; without it we cannot publish your review or respond to your message.

Technical information. Like most websites, we automatically receive technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We use it solely for security (spam and abuse prevention, rate limiting) and to operate the Service. Our hosting infrastructure providers may process this data as part of delivering the Service.

Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is an essential session cookie for authenticated administrators. No consent banners are required because no non-essential cookies are used.

2. How we use information

We use the collected information exclusively to: publish and moderate user reviews; verify review authorship by email; respond to enquiries; prevent spam, fraud and abuse; and maintain and improve the Service. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Emails

We send transactional emails only: review confirmation links and replies to your enquiries. Emails are delivered through our processor Resend. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

4. User-generated content

Reviews and ratings on the Service are submitted by users and represent the opinions of their authors, not of TrustsMatch. We moderate content but do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or usefulness. The display name you choose and the content of your review are published publicly; do not include personal data you do not want to be public. We may edit formatting or remove content that violates our guidelines at our sole discretion.

5. Third-party links and product information

The Service contains links to third-party websites and information about third-party products (names, prices, features). This information is provided for general informational purposes only, may be inaccurate or out of date, and does not constitute advice or endorsement. All trademarks belong to their respective owners; their use on the Service is for identification purposes only. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

6. Data retention and security

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Data is stored with reputable infrastructure providers using industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (including removal of a review you authored) at any time by contacting us via the contact form or at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustsMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on content published on the Service, including user reviews and product or pricing information.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. The current version is always available on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Contact
