How to play

One parcel of each kind, the same five for everybody, every day. Guess wrong and you lose a try — on the mystery term each wrong guess also opens the next hint. Every parcel ends with why the answer is what it is. Your streak lives in this browser only; there is nothing to sign up for.

Answers are checked on the server, so the page never contains them. Found a task that is wrong? Tell us — it gets fixed.

Five questions about selling on Amazon — the same five for everybody, replaced every day at midnight UTC. The whole set takes about three minutes. There is no account, no email and nothing to subscribe to.

Why a daily five and not a course

The score is not really the point. Every parcel ends with a short explanation of why the answer is what it is, so a wrong guess is worth more than a lucky right one.

Most of the money sellers lose to not knowing something goes on a small set of recurring misunderstandings: a ratio read as the wrong thing, a fee noticed only after it has been charged, a metric treated as a goal when it is only a constraint. Those are what this drills, three minutes at a time, instead of in one course you never finish.

The five kinds, and what each is for

Mystery term five tries
A piece of seller vocabulary behind four hints that open one at a time, one for each wrong guess. Builds the language you need to read a dashboard, a contract or a support reply without guessing at it.
Do the math three tries
One number to work out: a ratio, a fee, a margin, a break-even point. Answers are accepted within a tolerance, so rounding never costs you the point.
True or myth one try
A claim of the kind that circulates in seller groups and gets repeated until it sounds settled. No hints. Trains scepticism about advice that sounds reasonable.
What now? two tries
A situation on your account and a decision to take. Trains the order you check things in, which is usually what separates an expensive afternoon from a cheap one.
Hard one two tries
Two figures that point in opposite directions, or a result that only makes sense once you know what a metric leaves out. For people past the basics.

What it covers

Advertising metrics and what each one actually measures. Buy Box mechanics, and why chasing the lowest price is not the same as winning. Identifiers and stock-keeping. Fulfilment fees and where they bite. Unit economics — margin, break-even, stock turns, cash tied up in inventory. The real cost of running out. Returns, reimbursements and the paperwork around them.

Who gets the most out of it

New sellers get the vocabulary and the arithmetic in doses small enough to stick.

Experienced sellers mostly come for the hard one, where the trap is a metric that behaves differently from the way it is usually quoted.

Agencies, VAs and in-house teams use the shared five as a two-minute standing exercise: everyone answers the same questions, so the discussion afterwards is about the same thing.

Questions about the game

Is Daily Five free?

Yes, entirely. No account, no email, no trial that ends.

How is the streak counted?

One per day, added when you finish all five parcels — your score that day does not matter. It carries on only if you also played the day before; come back after a gap and it starts again at one. Seven days in a row unlocks a small arcade game.

Where is my streak stored?

In this browser, in local storage. It never reaches our server, which means it does not follow you to another device and clearing site data resets it. That is the price of having nothing to sign up for.

When do the questions change?

At 00:00 UTC. Everybody sees the same five on the same date, wherever they are, so a shared result refers to the same five questions.

Can I find the answers in the page source?

No. The page carries the question, the options and the first hint. The answer, the explanation and the remaining hints arrive one attempt at a time, checked on the server.

A question looks wrong to me.

Tell us and it gets fixed. Several already have been.

If a parcel sends you looking for a tool, the rest of the site is the other half of the job: every tool we have reviewed, side-by-side comparisons and a questionnaire that narrows the list to your stage.
