Refunds & Reimbursements tools

Services that audit your FBA account for lost, damaged or miscounted inventory and file the claims. Most work on commission, so compare the percentage and how much history they audit.

2 products
Reimbursement services audit an FBA account for units Amazon lost, damaged, miscounted or refunded without a return, then file the claims to recover the money. Amazon settles many of these cases on its own, but not all, and claims must be filed within limited windows. An audit’s value depends on catalogue size, inbound volume and how closely the account is already watched.

How these services charge

Most work on commission. GETIDA takes 25% of recovered funds and charges nothing if nothing is recovered. That suits sellers who want no upfront cost, but there is no flat-fee option, so the bill scales with recoveries. For a high-volume account, compare the commission against a flat-fee alternative or an in-house routine.

What to check before granting access

  • Lookback window. GETIDA audits up to 18 months of transactions; a longer history usually means more to find on the first pass.
  • Who files the claims. GETIDA uses a dedicated case team. Other tools only produce reports that the seller files.
  • Overlap. Running two services on one account invites duplicate claims, which Amazon will reject and which create needless case traffic.
  • Bundles. Seller 365, the bundle that includes Tactical Arbitrage, also contains reimbursement tools; resellers on that bundle may already be covered.

A note on Seller Snap, and when to skip

Seller Snap is listed here for reimbursement recovery bundled with its repricer, but its current plan comparison no longer lists that feature. Confirm with the vendor before choosing it for recovery; its core product is repricing. Small catalogues with few inbound shipments may find little to claim, and a quarterly look at Seller Central’s inventory reports may be enough.

Common questions

Is a 25% commission reasonable for FBA reimbursements?

Commission is the standard model here, and GETIDA’s 25% applies only to money actually recovered. High-volume sellers should compare that cost with flat-fee options or with handling claims in-house.

Can I file FBA reimbursement claims myself?

Yes, through cases in Seller Central. Services mainly save the time spent reconciling inventory and returns reports, which grows quickly with catalogue size.
