PPC & Advertising tools
Amazon PPC tools for campaign creation, bid optimization, keyword management and performance reporting. Compare automation, targeting controls, analytics and supported ad formats.
Match the fee to the ad budget
- Small budgets. SellerApp has a free plan for analytics, with Pro from $99/mo. Intellifox includes basic campaign optimisation from $29/mo, capped at 10 campaigns, and Helium 10 bundles ad tools into its suite.
- Roughly $2K–10K a month. Teikametrics Essentials costs $149/mo billed annually or $179 monthly for up to $10K of monthly spend; above that, a base fee plus 3% of spend over $10K applies. Sellozo charges a flat $250/mo for the first marketplace plus $50 for each extra one, with no percentage of spend.
- $10K a month and up. Perpetua starts at $695/mo for up to $10K of spend, with Growth adding a percentage above that.
- Enterprise. Quartile publishes no prices; third-party estimates start near $895/mo. Intentwise entry pricing is listed around $1,000/mo, and Pacvue contracts reportedly average about $26,500 a year.
Automation versus control, and which retailers
Perpetua is goal-based: the seller sets a profit or growth target and the engine manages bids, at the cost of manual control. Quartile adjusts bids hourly and builds single-keyword campaign structures, with a managed service available. Intentwise offers full automation or the seller’s own rules, and Sellozo pairs dayparting with a drag-and-drop campaign builder. Retailer coverage differs too: Teikametrics handles Amazon and Walmart, Quartile adds Google, Pacvue spans several retail media networks, and Sellozo is Amazon-only.
Common mistakes
Automating a messy account amplifies the mess, so clean campaign structure comes first. Several tools here are poor value below about $3K a month in spend, where a flat $250 fee becomes a large share of the budget. Percentage-of-spend pricing grows with every budget increase, so model the fee at next year’s spend as well as this year’s.
Common questions
Teikametrics or Perpetua?
Teikametrics starts lower, at $149/mo billed annually for up to $10K of monthly spend, and covers Walmart. Perpetua starts at $695/mo and suits brands spending $10K or more a month who want goal-based automation.
Is a PPC tool worth it on a small ad budget?
Often not. Below roughly $3K a month in ad spend, flat fees of $250 or more absorb most of the savings, so free analytics or the bundled ad tools in a suite are a better starting point.
