Reviews & Feedback tools
Compliant review and seller-feedback automation: request timing, monitoring and alerts. Compare marketplace coverage and how each tool stays inside Amazon's communication rules.
Compliance comes before conversion
Amazon restricts how sellers may contact buyers, and requests that steer buyers toward positive reviews or offer anything in return breach its policies regardless of which tool sends them. A sound setup uses neutral wording, keeps promotional content out of messages and treats templates as something to review, not accept by default. That matters with FeedbackWhiz in particular: it sends requests by email and SMS, and its email templates need tuning before they go out.
How the tools here differ
- FeedbackFive has been around for about a decade and is the cheapest way to automate review requests, from $12/mo with a free tier for low volume. It does one job, with a functional rather than modern interface.
- FeedbackWhiz starts at $20/mo and puts product reviews and seller feedback in one place, with real-time alerts on new feedback. It is increasingly sold as part of a larger bundle.
- Bundled alternatives. sellerboard includes follow-up email tools alongside profit analytics, and Intellifox lists review requests next to its listing tools. Sellers already paying for either may not need a separate subscription.
When a dedicated tool is unnecessary
At low order volume, Amazon’s own request button in Seller Central does the same job for free, one order at a time. The case for paying strengthens with volume and catalogue size, and for many sellers the monitoring half of these tools, catching new negative feedback quickly, is worth more than automated requests. Check marketplace coverage too: a tool that only watches one storefront leaves European or other regional accounts unmonitored.
Common questions
Are automated Amazon review request tools allowed?
Tools that send neutral requests within Amazon’s messaging rules are widely used. The risk lies in the wording: anything that asks only for positive reviews or offers something in return breaks Amazon’s policies.
FeedbackFive or FeedbackWhiz?
FeedbackFive is cheaper, from $12/mo with a free tier, and suits sellers who only want requests automated. FeedbackWhiz, from $20/mo, adds SMS and real-time alerts covering both reviews and seller feedback.
