How we fight fake reviews on TrustsMatch
Review platforms live and die by trust. That's why every review on TrustsMatch goes through a three-step pipeline before it affects a product's score.
Step one: email confirmation. A review isn't published until its author clicks a confirmation link. This alone removes most drive-by spam.
Step two: verification signals. Reviewers can link a seller account or purchase receipt to earn the Verified User badge. Verified reviews are weighted higher in the overall score.
Step three: human moderation. Our team reviews flagged content, and vendors can respond publicly to any review — but never edit or remove one. Deletion requires a policy violation, and every moderation action is logged.
